Burra Heritage Passport

Discover and explore the historic township of Burra with the Burra Heritage Passport. The passport gives you entry to the Burra Mine including dressing tower and lookout, police lockup and stables, Redruth Gaol, Hampton, power magazine, brewery cellars, miners’ dugouts and smelts paddock. The Passport also includes free entry to Burra's museums during opening times.

You’ll have a step-by-step guidebook helping you to discover the heritage trail at your leisure. The 11 kilometre heritage trail has been clearly marked out around the town, with 49 sites along its route.

Group and educational guided and unguided tours, including Burra Heritage Passport, can be arranged, full details and costs on application.

Tours can include: Burra, Enginehouse Museum, Bon Accord Museum and Market Square Museum.

Burra Heritage Passport is available from the Burra Visitor Centre.
