Mikkira Station

Mikkira Station is a tranquil secluded picnic or camping area set amongst Manna Gums where koalas live freely. Abundant and varied bird life can be observed. The historic area features the circa 1842 restored homestead as seen on the television production Australian Survivor.
No motorbikes and no dogs. Toilets and hot shower. Limited wood supplied for camp fires, a number of small wood barbeques available. No wood fires from November to late April.
Permit available from, Mortlock Mobil Service Station, Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre, Adelaide Place - all year round.
