Lake Newland Conservation Park

Located on the west coast of South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, Lake Newland Conservation Park is noted for its size, remote location and diversity of habitats. Lake Newland Conservation Park is a coastal park that runs north south for 25 kilometres. Extensive coastal dunes are backed by a series of shallow saline lakes and fresh water springs that provide suitable habitat for a wide range of waders, shorebirds and other water birds. Bird watching, bush walking and beach activities are just some on the attractions available to visitors. Fire ban season applies from April to October. Facilities are available at Walkers Rock.
