Oyster Lease and Sightseeing Half Day TourCoffin Bay Explorer offers a unique journey to some of the most pristine waters and coastline found anywhere in Australia. As a local family run business, Darian, your driver and guide, will show you some of the true hidden beauties of this area. While onboard you will visit the oyster nursery sites of Kellidie Bay, where the baby oysters grow. You will learn the history of the industry, as well as an insight into the lives of the original oyster dredgers. Then head out past the incredible sand hills of the Coffin Bay National Park, deserted beaches and rugged islands and coastline all the while spotting dolphins, sea lions and birdlife, which are abundant in the bays and waterways. The highlight of the tour for many is visiting the working Oyster Farms of Point Longnose, where there is the opportunity to sample oysters straight out of the ocean. It doesn't get any fresher than that! Operates: Daily at 9.30am and 1.30pm on demand from the Coffin Bay Boat ramp for a three-hour tour. This tour is a fantastic way to fully appreciate and enjoy the essence of what makes Coffin Bay so unique, "the seafood" and the vast coastline. It is an opportunity for seafood lovers to experience where some of Australia's premium produce is sourced and enjoy a relaxed, informative and completely unique one of a kind experience. Operates: Daily, on demand from the Coffin Bay Boat Ramp. Twilight Evening CruiseOur Twilight Cruise is a very slow paced, relaxing cruise of the gorgeous Coffin Bay. Evening is an absolutely spectacular time of the day to be on the water to enjoy watching the sun descending. Cruise is fully licensed and you can bring along your own drinks. You are also welcome to bring food and nibbles on board, or we can organise some for you. The cruise is fantastic for groups, families, Christmas parties and special occasions, and we can tailor a package cruise to your individual needs. Operates: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings 6pm to 8pm. | |
