Nestled amongst the vineyards with magnificent views to the Willunga escarpment, Leconfield McLaren Vale Cellar Door is also company headquarters, and the home of Richard Hamilton Wines. Opened by the Prime Minister of Australia, Hon John Howard MP on 7 October 2005, the striking building blends Australian and Danish characteristics, reflecting the owner’s respective heritages.

Two kilometres south of McLaren Vale on the Willunga Road and ten kilometres east of the sea, the cellar door offers the full range of Richard Hamilton Estate, Single Vineyard Reserve wines and selected Leconfield wines.

The building is bordered by sweeping lawns and wide verandas and is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and a ‘Wine Tasters Regional Platter’.
