A visit to Tintara is truly a memorable experience. Tintara- one of the original McLaren Vale wineries has earnt its reputation for world-class wines.
Situated approximately one hour drive south of Adelaide city, Tintara is located in the centre of the McLaren Vale Township. Surrounded by beautiful gardens- featuring one of the largest Morton Bay Fig trees in the Southern Hemisphere- our historical cellar door is an enchanting place to visit.
Take a walk back in time and appreciate the historical photographs, memorabilia and Tintara's oldest bottle, dated back to 1867. Our friendly staff will take you through a tasting experience of red, white, sparkling and fortified wines. Exclusive wines available for tasting include our three-limited cellar door wines- Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc and Spatlese Riesling. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you with your purchases and can organise freight nationally around Australia. Overseas visitors can also be assured of optimum service advice with our wine availability and contacts overseas.
Our cellar door is a proud achiever of the National Tourism Accreditation Program and as part of this achievement we can assure you of our total customer service excellence. We are close to a number of local restaurants and accommodation services and can assist with your tourist enquiry.
We encourage smaller groups and can offer structured tastings. We require bookings for all groups and we encourage you to contact the cellar door staff for further enquiries.
