Gemtree Vineyards Cellar Door
Gemtree Vineyards comprises 330 acres in the heart of McLaren Vale and has been the home of Paul and Jill Buttery for over 20 years. The Gemtree label was created by the family in 1998 and today production is over 25,000 cases across 15 different products. All family members are involved in the production and marketing of the Gemtree range. For the past 10 years a wetland area has been under development in the heart of the vineyard with the aim of restoring the health of the ecosystem whilst providing a sanctuary for frogs, bird life and other native species.
Since 2008, the entire Gemtree estate has been farmed biodynamically and winemaker, Mike Brown continues this philosophy in the winery where fermentation occurs 100 per cent naturally and there is no fining or filtration.

You can choose to participate in our unique Wine Flight programme which allows you to experience the wines in an educational and enjoyable manner together with regional cheese and lavosh bread.
