Stranded at Port Elliot offers smart bistro and casual alfresco dining. Also on offer are summer and winter bars, take-home meals, in-home catering, function, wedding and conference space as well as modern apartment style accommodation.
Open seven days for lunch, dinner and drinks during summer and Thursday to Sunday for the rest of the year. Catering, function, wedding, conference and accommodation are available all year.
The Bistro's philosophy is to serve hand made food from produce sourced in as small a radius as possible from Port Elliot. We aim to achieve this in a contemporary, professional and yet somehow old-fashioned manner, ensuring you have adequate time between courses.
Alfresco dining in the summer garden and bar is casual offering an all day menu and drinks list including contemporary pizza, fish and chips, dips, great salads, seafood and snacks. Select some local wine from the bargain bin or choose something else from the well stocked garden bar.
Most items on the garden menu are available as take-home and the Stranded catering trailer makes in-home catering a breeze for 20 people or more. The Inn's foot print and accommodation packages make it an interesting venue suited to a wide range of function, wedding and conference opportunities.
