The River Walk is a three dimensional model of the Murray River from the South Australian border to the Murray Mouth. Interpretive panels examine the regulation of the river, ecological issues, wetlands and the lakes and Coorong fishing industry.
Paddlesteamers formed a vital transport link between stations and farms of inland Australia, carrying much needed supplies to isolated places like Bourke, Wilcannia and Gundagai.

The PS Oscar W is moored on the Goolwa Wharf and is an authentic wood fired paddlesteamer. Open on weekends and during school holidays when volunteers are available.
