Horrocks Pass

Just west of Wilmington on the road to Port Augusta lies Horrocks Pass.

The pass was named after the explorer John Horrocks who descended through the pass in 1840 on his ill-fated journey north.

A lookout at the historic Cairn at the top of the pass gives an excellent view of the pass.
