Quorn Native Flora Reserve

The town of Quorn was settled in 1878 and the quarry, at the site of the reserve, was opened to supply the town with stone for buildings.

In 1891 the site was proclaimed a stone reserve placing the site under council care and protection. Humans have never impacted upon the majority of the reserve significantly.

In 1992 it became established as the Flora Reserve.
