Bartagunyah Estate
Bartagunyah Estate cellar door is situated five kilometres from the township of Melrose in the Southern Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. The vineyard produces wine from shiraz, cabernet and viognier grapes grown at an altitude of over 400 metres above sea level. The wine is made from sparsely irrigated vines, producing distinctive and concentrated flavours.
Bartagunyah now has single track mountain bike trails and hosts the Adelaide Mountain Bike race on the October long weekend. Shower and toilet facilites are now avaialble for campers, bushwalkers and mountain bike riders. The Mawson and Heysen trails and the Mount Remarkable National Park are adjacent to the property. Camping AUD14.00 per person per night, Moutain biking AUD10.00 per day (subject to change).
