Explore the intriguing rock formations, hidden gullies and yakka forests. You will also witness some of the animals that are native to this region. Drive the ridge top and experience the magnificent, uninterrupted panoramic views.

Carinya Escapes Self Drive Four Wheel Drive Tour - CE01Situated 15 kilometres south of Orroroo you will find undiscovered four wheel drive tracks. Carinya Escapes is a scenic and at times challenging track that winds its way through Blue Gum scrub and Sheoak groves. Experienced four wheel drivers will appreciate climbing through rocky outcrops that abound with wildlife and extensive Yakka forest. Upon reaching the summit enjoy 360 degree panoramic views. Spend one and a half hours to two hours or all day at Carinya, or stay overnight in our sheltered and secluded campsite. Operates: By arrangement from the end of March to mid November each year, depending on weather and season. | |
