Kangaroo Island Health Retreat is a place for healing not pampering, the Retreat offers Australia's finest detoxification programs, and Sue McCarthy is continuously refining the techniques necessary for longevity. The Retreat has been purposely built for up to eight guests to cleanse, rejuvenate, lose weight and de-stress. Interior decor is country cottage in a California bungalow style building. All rooms overlook magnificent Emu Bay, Shoal Bay and the peaceful countryside of Kangaroo Island. Rejuvenation program includes accommodation and all meals made from organically grown wholefoods plus use of facilities, sauna and spa, yoga, pilates, massage, aerobics, swimming (pool and ocean), beach and bush walking and nutrition instruction.

RETREATShamrock Lodge caters for six people with own private bathroom and bedroom, large picture windows overlook superb views of fields and ocean. Relax in a well-appointed lounge, gazing at stunning surrounds, whilst listening to music or reading a book or magazine from the library. All bedrooms are appointed with linen bedclothes, a personal television, fan, electric blanket, hairdryer, two bath towels and a face flannel. Shamrock Facilities also include a viewing kitchen for all food preparation, a delightful studio overlooking the bay for all exercise and lectures, a gorgeous courtyard with spa, sauna, a flower fringed plunge pool, and lap pool complete with deck and sun lounges all taking in the picturesque scenery. | |
