Sunset Winery Kangaroo Island
Sunset Winery is Kangaroo Island’s first purpose built cellar door/winery. Part of our production policy is that all fruit for the wine is sourced from Kangaroo Island vineyards.
Sunset Winery has elevated sea views overlooking picturesque Eastern Cove and beyond can be enjoyed from the tasting room and recently built larger all weather deck area, whilst the barrel store and production areas are kept at a constant temperature by means of the cement 'tilt-up' construction of the lower level.
The winery is situated amongst fourteen hectares of native bushland, many species of birds can be seen, and resident kangaroos, the goanna and echidna, all call Sunset Winery home. Four hundred sheoaks have been planted as a food source for the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo.
