M.V. Cooinda Fishing & Diving Charters
K.I. Diving Services operates M.V. Cooinda a 13-metre cruiser for fishing and diving charters from American River, Kangaroo Island. All bait and tackle supplied, tea and coffee available, toilet on board.
We run regular night time and half day charters, catching many of the over 100 species found in and around Eastern Cove, including King George Whiting, Garfish, Trevally, and Sweep. Or you can choose a full or multi-day long distance charter looking for Snapper or larger game fish.

Half Day Fishing Charter - KIDS01Half day fishing charter aboard the M.V. Cooinda ad 13-metre flybridge cruiser surveyed for 23 passengers. Fish for whiting and others off Eastern Cove. Operates: Departs daily from American River Wharf at 12.30pm from 1 June 2009 to 29 October 2009 and 2 April 2010 to 30 June 2010 and at 1.30pm from 30 October 2009 to 1 April 2010. Half Day Scuba Diving Charter - KIDS02Certified divers can experience the bio-diversity of Kangaroo Island's underwater world, with two scuba dives from the M.V. Cooinda. Kangaroo Island's unique temperate reefs and underwater walls descend to 20-23 metres. Gorgonian Corals, Orange and White Sponges, Sea Pens, Blue Devil Fish, Old Wife and Boar Fish add to the kaleidoscope of colour. Operates: Departs daily from American River Wharf at 8am. | |
