First established in 1839, Poltalloch Station is a sheep and cattle farm with 22 historic buildings, including the jetty house, shearing shed, stables, lighthouse and magnificent Victorian homestead. Guests stay in well appointed heritage cottages with air conditioning, sunny verandahs and wood fires in winter. Enjoy swimming, canoeing or sailing, tennis and walking in the extensive pristine bushland. Poltalloch is renowned for seclusion, tranquillity, spectacular sunsets and some of the best bird watching opportunities in the Coorong and Lakes area.

Boundary RiderBoundary Rider's is a quiet, attractive limestone and iron cottage with spacious lawn surrounds. It sleeps up to five persons with one queen size bed and three single beds. OVERSEERSOverseer's is a large stone cottage with a private rear garden and wonderful lake views from the front verandah. It sleeps up to seven persons and features two master bedrooms with queen size beds, three single beds, two separate bathrooms and a large traditional eat-in kitchen. STATION HANDStation Hand's is located close to the lakeshore and our waterbird sanctuary. The cottage sleeps up to four persons with one king size bed and two single beds. | |
