Kingston National Trust Museum

The Kingston National Trust Museum features a comprehensive collection of every conceivable item from the past.

A short list of some of the items included in the large building includes telephones, household goods, prams, Aboriginal items, typewriters, saddles, washing ringers, shop scales and much, much more.

The actual anchor belonging to the Margaret Brock, the ship that gave the name to the Margaret Brock Reef, is also on show in the museum. There is also a great deal of old records and registers which record much of our history that are available for browsing.

It is estimated that to thoroughly browse through this collection that approximately two hours be put aside. Conducted tours are available and many stories come to life on hearing of the history behind what might otherwise just be an ordinary object.
