Port Macdonnell Golf Club
Open all year round, the Port MacDonnell Golf Course is situated in the scenic township of Port MacDonnell, just a 20 minute drive from Mount Gambier in the south-east of South Australia.
The par 36 nine-hole golf course, with its lush greens and well-maintained fairways, is a great way to relax and enjoy a game of golf, whilst at the same time enjoying the fresh sea air.
You will find this golf course set entirely on a hill-free surface. This makes it ideally suited to beginners or players with ageing bodies.
However, don’t be lulled into thinking that you have it beaten before your start, as we can promise you this course has enough challenging areas to keep you interested.
Should you and your family choose to just play socially or enjoy the hospitality of members by joining in a regular competition then, either way, you will want to return again to the Port MacDonnell Golf Course.
Ladies tee off at 9am Wednesdays. A mixed twilight nine-hole competition is played Fridays at 4pm (daylight saving time). Meals are served in the clubrooms from 6pm. Sunday’s tee-off time is 11am.
After the game you may decide to stay on and visit some of the other many scenic attractions in the area.
All types of functions can be organised or if you wish to visit the clubrooms, please telephone for availability.
