Watervalley Wetlands offers over 40 kilometres of self-guided four wheel drive tracks that are suitable for all levels of experience. These tracks take you through our working cattle station with majestic views of the Coorong, and then deep into our pristine heritage-listed vegetation. Our expansive system of wetlands lay dry after summer and teem with life following the winter rains, supporting a diverse range of flora and fauna.
Should you wish to explore this private property with a friendly guide we offer half day and full day tag along tours. You will discover a different side to the Coorong that is tucked away out of sight.
Why not pack your lunch and spend some time with us or stay the night and test your astronomy skills. We offer camping in designated bush camps, or accommodation in the Wetlands Centre.

Explore it with a friendly guide who will lead you to spectacular views of the Coorong, tell you about the many trials and tribulations of this region, and inform you about the local flora and fauna. Before you know it, you could be enjoying afternoon tea amongst 7,000 hectare of heritage vegetation. Operates: By arrangement, subject to availability from 11am to 3pm approximately. Self Drive Half Day TourWander through Watervalley Wetlands at your own pace. We offer self-guided four wheel drive tracks that allow you through parts of our working cattle station and then take you deep into our heritage-listed vegetation and winds through our remnant and current wetlands. Pack your lunch and spend the day exploring and getting up close and personal with our wildlife. With prior arrangement, you could be the first person out there to witness one of our vibrant sunrises over the wetlands whilst having breakfast with the birds. Or you could be the last person around as night closes in, sitting with a glass of wine and watching a magnificent Coorong sunset. The four wheel drive tracks offer you stress-free enjoyable exploration, and are suitable for all levels of experience.
