Mallee Tourist And Heritage Centre

The Mallee Tourist and Heritage Centre contains a number of different exhibits and displays which tell the stories of the Mallee. Visitors can explore the Gum Family collection of restored tractors, stationary engines, farm and household memorabilia and the Printing Museum which displays presses, equipment and letterpress type. The DA Wurfel Grain Collection exhibits different varieties of grain and there are also displays honouring the pioneer women of the district. The South Australia Dry project depicts the district's settlement and development through dioramas and interpretive panels and the Mallee Panorama of landscape scenes shows the different faces of the Mallee.
