Individual Traveller River Murray Five Day Cruise

As a guest of Odyssey River Cruises, sit back and relax as the Captain takes the wheel and our chef pampers you with some of the best in South Australian food and wine. As Odyssey cruises past ancient towering cliffs, abundant birdlife and fantastic scenery, enjoy the ultimate in luxury accommodation featuring lounge, dining and bar areas on both levels, king size beds, private ensuites, large outside deck areas and private spa room on the upper level. Experience the wonder of night cruising with the riverbank and cliffs floodlit - truly spectacular. Your suggested itinerary can include: Day One - Monday - Boarding time 3pm. Cruise past the township of Mannum, experience the ferry crossing and proceed upstream where you will moor for the evening at Lake Carlet. Sit back and relax, enjoy the sunset and birdlife from the sumptuous upstairs lounge and dining area while our chef prepares your wonderful dinner. Day Two - Tuesday - After breakfast call into the historic town of Bowhill, take short stroll through the town and visit the local store. From Bowhill the scenery really starts as you cruise past the spectacular limestone cliffs, through the Purnong Ferry crossing and onto Walkers Flat before settling in for the night and enjoying a wonderful campfire on the river bank. Day Three - Wednesday -Travel on to Devon Downs where you can stop for a tour of the historic aboriginal site at Ngaut Ngaut before cruising further upstream to find a spectacular spot for your evening stopover at Big Bend. Enjoy the Big Bend by Night tour and discover the natural wildlife that abounds near the Nildottie Cliffs. Day Four - Thursday - Travel downstream through Nildottie, Walker Flat and Purnong, enjoy an evening dinner cruise with the river banks floodlit. Day Five - Friday - Sit back and relax as you cruise back to Odyssey's moorings at Mannum before disembarking at 10am. Operates: By arrangement, departs Monday, returns Friday.

Day Three - Sunday - Cruise back towards Mannum past the lagoons, birdlife, historic towns, ancient towering cliffs and ever changing scenery. Moor for lunch and stretch your legs, the Captain is happy to take you exploring the lagoons in the dinghy, or perhaps you would like to throw a line in and catch a fish. Enjoy your dinner whilst cruising at night with the riverbanks floodlit, a breathtaking experience. Day Four - Monday - Sit back and relax as you cruise back to Odyssey's moorings at Mannum before disembarking at 10am. Operates: By arrangement, departs Friday, returns Monday.

Magical Murray Odyssey Loxton to Mannum Seven Day One Way Cruise

Travel through 340 kilometres of some of the most spectacular reaches of the River Murray – past towering ancient gorges, historic river towns, abundant bird life, lagoons, majestic river gums and enjoy the onshore excursions. Downstream cruise itinerary: Day One - Depart Mannum by coach transfer to Loxton at 1pm boarding Odyssey at 3.30pm passing through Lock Three before mooring for the evening at Moorook. Day Two - Depart cruising downstream to Waikerie passing Banrock Station, Akuna Station and Overland Corner – (Optional tour of Banrock Station) visiting the historic Overland Corner Hotel. Day Three - Cruise downstream to Morgan passing through Lock Two, Cadell and on to the historic river port of Morgan. Day Four - Depart for Blanchetown cruising past Murbko, Roonka and enjoy the river as it meanders through a huge flood plain before passing through Lock One. Day Five - Cruise to Swan Reach before mooring for the evening at Big Bend for a nocturnal wildlife tour. Day Six - Cruise on to Nildottie visiting the historic aboriginal site of Ngaut Ngaut then pass through the historic townships of Walker Flat and Bow Hill before mooring for the evening at Lake Carlet. Day Seven - Depart for Mannum arriving at 10am. Operates: By arrangement. Subject to water levels above Swan Reach.

Magical Murray Odyssey Mannum to Loxton Seven Day One Way Cruise

Travel 340 kilometres through some of the River Murray's most spectacular river scenery with its ancient towering gorges, historic townships, abundant bird life, magnificent red gums and enjoy the onshore excursions. Upstream cruise itinerary: Day One - Depart Mannum at 3pm cruising upstream before mooring at Maidment Swamp for the evening. Day Two - Call into the historic store at Bowhill before cruising on to Walker Flat. After lunch visit the historical Aboriginal Ngaut Ngaut site before continuing on for a Big Bend by Night nocturnal wildlife tour. Marvel at the spectacular floodlit night cruising as you then travel on to Swan Reach. Day Three - Depart at 10am after visiting the Swan Reach museum cruising through Lock One at Blanchetown before mooring for the evening. Day Four - Travel on to the historic river port of Morgan cruising past Cadell, red gum forests then through Lock Two and on to Waikerie before mooring for the evening. Day Five - Depart Waikerie cruising upstream to Overland Corner - stop for guests to stretch their legs, perhaps visit the historic Overland Hotel or take a tour of Banrock Station (optional extras). Then pass through Lock Three and on to Kingston on Murray. Day Six - Depart Kingston on Murray cruising upstream before mooring for the evening. Day Seven - Depart Loxton at 9.30am for coach transfer to Mannum arriving at 12pm. Operates: By arrangement. Subject to water levels above Swan Reach.
