Moorook Game Reserve
Established in 1976 and is made up from 1,236 hectares of floodplain and wetland including large body of water "Watchels Lagoon" and numerous narrow creeks and shallow swamps. The area contains a variety of environments that provide important habitat for many aquatic birds and mammals. Fishing, boating and enjoying the river are popular recreational activities. Waterfowl hunting is permitted in the reserve during open days.
