Moonta Mines Tourist Railway

A 50 minute round trip by narrow gauge rail, passes the reservoir and ore sorting floors then through a tunnel in Ryan's Tailings Heap.

Departing from the Station adjacent to the Moonta Mines Museum, the train leaves on the hour, except in extreme weather conditions.

See the restored horse drawn tram and old blacksmith shop (working blacksmith available for groups by appointment only) while waiting for the tourist train. The 'Party Express' is available for children's parties.
