Banking And Currency Museum
Visit Australia's only private museum of money and banking to see nearly 3,000 money boxes, five rooms packed with banking and money memorabilia including a working vault wallpapered with sheets of uncut notes, and more than 60,000 new coins and 50 gold coins.
For more than18 years this award winning 'money museum' has provided exciting and wide-ranging memories for the older person and educated younger generations with its displays of money and banking, gems, minerals, fossils and meteorites.
Housed in a 130-year-old bank building at the end of Kadina's main street, this museum is open from Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 4.30pm, but closed during June.
The museum will close permanently on 19 December 2008.
