The Derwent Bridge Chalets and Studios provide self-contained accommodation near Lake St Clair, Tasmania.
Edged by a snow gum forest, you can choose from spacious chalet or cosy studio accommodation. The six chalets vary from a romantic two-person chalet through to a two-storey chalet accommodating eight guests. There are three chalets suitable for two guests, two of which are appointed with a spa. Mid-size chalets include a family chalet for four guests and a two-bedroom chalet for up to five. There are four studios suitable for one or two persons, one with twin adult single beds and one with wheelchair access. All main beds are queen-size and there are en suite bathrooms with separate toilets. Each chalet has its own kitchen and laundry facilities, while the studios have a kitchenette and share a coin-operated laundry.
Enjoy superb bushwalks, trout fishing (fishing tackle and guides can be recommended), cycling, and even see a winter snowfall. Meet friends before or after the Overland Track or book a chalet for a romantic escape..
