Explorers Lodge B&B and self contained apartment is in New Norfolk, 30 minutes from Hobart. It is located on the “Rivers Run” tourist route and is an ideal base for touring southern Tasmania.
The homestead offers a comfortable and affordable self-contained apartment, as well as en suite bed and breakfast accommodation in superb and peaceful surrounds. The self contained apartment is ideal for two couples or a family of four traveling together and is unique in that it provides two separate bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The north facing balcony overlooks the pool and hills beyond and has its own barbecue. Guests who enjoy both hiking and touring stay for a week or more to discover the sights of nearby Hobart, the walks in Mt Field National Park and the attractions of the beautiful Derwent Valley.
The four bed and breakfast rooms all have their own bathrooms. Guests enjoy relaxing in the sunroom or the guests’ sitting room, or they make use of the garden or the upstairs balconies.
