Kelleher's Cottage
Kelleher’s Cottage is a historic sandstone house (c1835. ) at Hamilton offering unique self-contained accommodation. Kelleher’s Cottage has an outlook over farmland to hills and distant mountains.
Kelleher’s Cottage has been renovated to provide all the modern conveniences. An original flagstone floor in the kitchen is a feature. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. It has a gas stove, microwave oven, small fridge, washing machine, jug, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and more.
The bathroom has a big skylight and a deep bath with shower over. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds. All rooms have electric heating, one bedroom also has a wood heater.
The lounge room has a television and another wood heater. There is a separate dining room.
The cottage is fully equipped and well provisioned for ‘make your own’ breakfast; with basics for preparing other meals, cleaning up and laundry.
“Why rent a gorgeous historic cottage for the night and then go out for dinner?” The cottage is well set up to cook for yourselves, or ready prepared meals are available. Wine is available from our cellar at Jackson’s Emporium.
Kelleher’s Cottage makes an ideal base for a few days seeing central and most of southern Tasmania.
