Park House offers fully self-contained accommodation at Bothwell in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley and Central Highlands.
Park House is a substantial brick house built in 1950 and accommodates six people. It’s situated on a flat block with off street parking. It has a large lounge room, family room and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, large refrigerator and full size oven.
The living area has a wood heater, comfy lounge and colour television. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and the toilet is separate. The laundry has a twin tub washing machine.
There are three bedrooms, two double and one twin share. All beds have electric blankets and bed lamps. The main bedroom also has a clock radio. All linen and towels are supplied.
Park House is within flat walking distance of all craft shops, museum, fine art gallery, supermarkets, service station, hotel, post office, nurseries and bakery.
Bothwell is home to the oldest golf course in the southern hemispheres and the Australasian Golf Museum is a must for golf enthusiasts.
Across the road Queens Park offers barbecue facilities and a playground for the children.
Park House is on the Rivers Run Touring Route.
