Old Colony Inn (Attraction)
The Old Colony Inn can be found at New Norfolk, just 30 minutes from Hobart. Discover this historic home and tea rooms, furnished with antiques from across Europe.
The Old Colony Inn began life in 1815 as a hop shed and was later extended to become a private home. It served as a school gymnasium and barracks over the years and in 1940 was bought by antique dealer and artist William Rees. Today it is home to one of Australia's largest antique doll's houses.
You can stroll through the old English gardens, enjoy refreshments in the tea rooms and browse the craft shop. Accommodation is available in the honeymoon cottage.
