Redlands is a colonial estate built with convict bricks. Many buildings remain, including Redlands Cottage built in 1825.
There are 2 hectares of English style gardens beside the River Plenty with picnic and barbecue facilities. Perhaps try your hand at trout fishing or let the friendly pets accompany you on a self guided tour of this working farm.
