Whether you are a novice or experienced fly fisher Blue Lake Lodge can cater to your requirements.
You can choose from a range of fly-fishing activities: fishing for sea run brown trout, flats polaroiding for big trout, dry fly fishing in prolific summer mayfly hatches, wind lane fishing, tailing trout, loch style fishing and more.
You’ll be guided by Brett, your host and experience fly-fishing guide, and get access to the best fishing areas using their specially designed boat.
Blue Lake Lodge enjoys a secluded bushland and waterfront setting on Arthurs Lake, one of Tasmania’s most prolific wild trout fisheries.
Blue Lake Lodge is situated on 100 acres of native bush land, your nearest neighbour at least a kilometre away. A quiet evening stroll through the bush is likely to provide glimpses of wallabies, wombats, echidnas, native bird life, and fallow deer. After dark you are likely to encounter possums and Tasmanian devils.
