Lake St Clair Wilderness Resort offers a range of lakeside hire services in Tasmania’s central highlands. Lake St Clair is two and a half hours north-west of Hobart (178 kilometres/111 miles), at the southern boundary of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park.
Lake St Clair Wilderness Resort is located within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Here, you can hire a dinghy or a canoe to explore the wilderness from the water. Guided trout fishing services are also available and a ferry operates on the Lake, cruising from the Resort jetty to Narcissus Bay in the north.
Dinghy hire is $50.00 for a half day and $90.00 for a full day. Canoe hire is $35.00 for two hours. Guided trout fishing from $350.00 to $500.00.
