Tasman Backpackers offers dormitory style accommodation, standard twin and double rooms , and two ensuite rooms. Tasman Backpackers is located two kilometres from Devonport’s central business district, free pickup from the Visitor Information Centre can be arranged.
Enjoy fantastic movies free, on our new big movie screen. Cheap beers are also available in our basic bar. Other facilities include kiosk and tour desk at reception, cheap internet, common room, pool table, dart board, satellite television and magazines. For your peace of mind we have a security coded 24 hour access door, baggage and bicycle storage, and passport safe. A ten percent discount applies if paying a week in advance.
Devonport is the gateway city to the spectacular Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park. Tasman Backpackers is a great base for those seeking harvest work or to see the sights of Tasmania’s picturesque north-west coast.
