The Blue Wren Tea Gardens is a self-contained apartment on Tasmania’s northwest coast. Set on five acres of well-kept gardens, the modern, one bedroom unit overlooks Moonlight Bay, between the towns of Ulverstone and Penguin.
The spacious apartment accommodates two people in the queen-size room; there is also a double futon for extra guests. The unit is fully self-contained with kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. A blend of Australian native and exotic plants and flowers, including a rose garden, surround the accommodation. A local population of Blue Wrens (also known as the Superb Fairy Wren) are regular visitors.
The Blue Wren Tea Gardens can also offer bed and breakfast home stay accommodation for a limited number of guests on request. Nearby attractions include coastal and bush walks, penguin and platypus viewing, galleries, and wonderful Tasmanian produce, including locally-made wine and cheese.
