Blueberry Bed and Breakfast is 10 kilometres east of Burnie on Tasmania’s beautiful northwest coast. This hosted country home at Heybridge is in a quiet rural setting 43 kilometres west of the Devonport ferry terminal. Mature gardens surround the home.
Accommodation is provided with two bedrooms, one with queen bed and en suite, the second with two single beds and own bathroom across the hallway. Both rooms have tranquil rural and ocean views from their large windows. There is a grab rail at the main bathroom toilet and a shower chair is available. For guests use is the lounge room with television, compact disc player and digital video disc. There is also a kitchen/dining area and a separate sitting room. Laundry facilities are available and there is also a sun room with barbecue facilities and table tennis.
Parking is five meters from the front door with level access. The property of nine acres is planned for permaculture farming with its main focus being blueberry production. The back boundary is onto a government reserve leading down to the Blythe River.
Pets are welcome by arrangement prior to your stay.
Attractions in the area include the Leven Valley Winery, Gunns Plains Caves, Lactos Cheese tasting and Upper Natone trout Fishery and Wings Wildlife Park.
