The Cradle Vista guest house is located on a 22-hectare (54-acre) farm. The property has two queen-size, en suite bedrooms and a third bedroom with two twin beds and an adjacent private bathroom with bath and separate shower. The ‘Villa’—adjoining the main house—is a studio apartment with one queen-size and one single bed, en suite, kitchenette, dining setting and lounge with television. An additional single folding bed is also available.
Cradle Vista is surrounded by three acres of gardens, which include masses of spring bulbs, cottage plants and flowering shrubs. The property has uninterrupted views from every window of Mt. Roland, Mt Van Dyke, Mt. Claude, Cradle Mountain and the surrounding rural landscape.
Cradle Mountain National Park—in Tasmania’s World Heritage Wilderness Area—is a forty minute drive south of Staverton. Here you can experience Tasmania’s breathtaking alpine landscape, walk through forests and alongside mountain lakes and encounter native wildlife, including wallabies, possums and wombats.
