Gollan House
Gollan House is located on the north-west coast of Tasmania and offers heritage-listed accommodation. It was built in 1910 for Dr Gollan and his family and is a fine example of federation style architecture of the day. It is currently being restored to its former glory with some rooms now completed and available for fine accommodation.
Gollan is positioned in the town centre of Ulverstone and is adjacent to shops, restaurants and is only a short walk to the Leven River, beaches and wonderful parks.
Luxuriously appointed rooms are complete with all the facilities that guests need for their added comfort. There is a choice of spa en suite or double shower. A cosy fire offers total relaxation and a continental breakfast is included in the tariff. A television and DVD player may be enjoyed in rooms along with a wireless internet connection. Electric blankets and room heating is also provided for guest comfort. Amenities include tea and coffee making facilities and toaster along with a mini refrigerator in rooms.
The World Heritage Wilderness Area of Cradle Mountain is only an hour’s drive away as well as beautiful alpine lakes, deep forests, pristine rivers and gorges.
