Liffey Falls Lodge B&B
Surrounded by tall forest and spectacular mountain views, the lodge is set high in the remote country on the edge of the Great Western Tiers wilderness, yet is only 18 km from the historic town of Deloraine.
Wander around the farm to visit the horses, ducks and chickens and join in feeding them. In the bush you're likely to see dainty blue wrens, showy scarlet robins and large black cockatoos. At night go spotlighting to see the shy wallabies, wombats and bandicoots. If you are lucky you might see quolls or Tasmanian devils.
The farm is adjacent to the Liffey Falls Reserve, where you can walk to the beautiful falls. Other superb bushwalks nearby include Quamby Bluff, Projection Bluff and Gum Top Hill. Try casting a line in the clear Liffey River close by or the Central Highland Lakes.
A fully equipped guests kitchen is available for self catering purposes or expereience any of Deloraines cafes, restaurants or bars. Prices include a continental breakfast.
