The Old Wilmot Bakehouse (c.1893) offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Wilmot, north west Tasmania.
There are four private ensuite bedrooms, two have king-size beds and a single bed, one with queen bed and one backpacker room with a set of bunks and single bed. Continental breakfast is included in the tariff. A cooked breakfast is also available at $10 per person by pre booking. On the weekends the licensed dining room offers home cooked meals served with local beer or wine nightly for in-house guest with pre-booking.
Please note that the bakery and cafe sections are currently closed and will reopen at a later date.
The village of Wilmot is located in a picturesque valley with undulating green mountains and lush pastures. Wilmot is an ideal base to explore the many attractions of the region; Mount Roland, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Cave and State Reserve, Lake Barrington - famous for its rowing, and Sheffield - known as the town of murals.
Wilmot is 30 minutes’ (38 kilometres/ 24 miles) drive from Devonport.
