The Beachway is set in landscaped gardens and offers four and three and a half star accommodation. The motel suites are all on the ground floor, in two wings on either side of gardens that include heated pool and spa (open October to Easter). All motel rooms have access to broadband and 15 of the motel’s 27 units, are air-conditioned. Each of these rooms receives 11 satellite television channels. The Beachway restaurant is monday to wednesday from 6 until 7 pm, and thursday to saturday from 6 pm until later. The Beachway has conference and function facilities for up to 90 guests and the latest audio-visual equipment is available.
The motel is on the eastern side of Ulverstone and is within an easy and flat walk to the beach, town centre, the Leven River, and the town’s gardens. Many regional attractions (caves, wildlife parks, gardens, mazes, arts, crafts, dismal swamp, chocolate factory), villages and towns – Devonport, Cradle Mountain, Penguin, Stanley, Sheffield, are within an easy and pleasant drive of Ulverstone.
