Abel Tasman Caravan Park
The Abel Tasman Caravan Park provides camping sites, cabin and caravan accommodation in Devonport, Tasmania.
There are powered and unpowered sites available as well as onsite caravans for hire. The en suite cabins are fully self-contained and linen is provided for the double bed. Family cabins can accommodate five to seven guests. The cabins have showers, electric blankets and well-equipped kitchens. There is an indoor and outdoor camp kitchen and barbecue area. Drive-through sites are available as well as laundry facilities and a playground next to the beach.
Wander down to the beach or the river, just a few minutes’ walk from the park. Visit Tiagarra Aboriginal Culture Centre and the museums and art galleries in Devonport. The northwest coast is dotted with beautiful sandy beaches and green patchwork farmland. Visit quaint country towns including Sheffield, famous for its extensive display of murals. Walk through wilderness in the Cradle Mountain National Park and wander through caves at Mole Creek Karst National Park.
The park is located less than one kilometre (about half a mile) from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal. Devonport is just over one hours’ drive from Launceston (103 kilometres/64 miles).
