Silver Ridge is on the edge of the wilderness, at the foot of Mount Roland.
Cradle Mountain, Mole Creek Caves, Trowunna Wildlife Park, Tasmazia, Lake Barrington rowing course and Devonport are all within 40 minutes drive and Sheffield “the Town of Murals” is only 10 minutes away.
Self-contained one or two bedroom cottages (some spas) and lodge units have well-equipped kitchens and cosy wood heaters for cool winter nights.
Surrounded by alpine fields, with contented cows and horses, Silver Ridge is a peaceful relaxing experience. “Noise” here is bird song, wind and running water.
Enjoy magnificent views in every direction, a heated indoor pool and peaceful walks on the farm. Explore our rainforest along the creeks on foot, or further afield on horseback or climb Mount Roland and marvel, with the wedge-tailed eagles, at views from Devonport harbour to Cradle Mountain.
Our 1870's Silver Mine is well preserved with amazing stalactites, cave spiders and glow-worms.
After dark the property teems with wildlife so join our spotlighting excursion, and meet the native animals in their environment and on a clear night marvel at the unpolluted starry sky. You could possibly even see an Aurora Australis dancing over the southern mountains.
