The sea views can be enjoyed through floor to ceiling windows.
Fill the thermos and esky provided and set off for a picnic on one of the many beaches of the remote island. Drop a fishing line in at the local wharf, dine at the Shearwater Restaurant and take in stunning views from Vinegar Hill lookout. Hear the sea birds call as they fly over the islands of Franklin Sound spread out before you. Also nearby are Patriarchs Wildlife Sanctuary, Wybalenna Historic Site and the Furneaux Art Gallery. The extraordinary jagged peaks of Strzelecki National Park are just a short drive away.
Flinders Island is a 45-minute flight away from Launceston or Melbourne.
