Rainbow Retreat Wilderness Eco Cabins provide solar-powered cabins at St Marys in north-east Tasmania. The eco-retreat is surrounded by bushland and has sensational ocean views.
There are three comfortable solar-powered deluxe cabins set on a private nature reserve.
The open plan cabins are timber-lined and appointed with a queen-size bed and fold-out double futon. There is a spacious en suite bathroom with Sheridan king-size bath towels. Cabins run on a 12-volt solar system and are fully self-contained. There is a pot-belly stove, dining suite and television. Prepare your own meals or enjoy the convenience of choosing wood-fired pizza or a specialty dish from the menu, prepared by the in-house chef and delivered to your door. The retreat is fully licensed and stocks a range of Tasmanian and Banrock Station wines.
Enjoy the free-roaming wildlife, encouraged by the owners who are wildlife rescuers. Feed local animals and appreciate the natural surroundings from your cabin. Centrally located between Freycinet National Park and the Bay of Fires, Rainbow Retreat is a well-positioned base to explore the east coast. Visit magnificent Wineglass Bay and walk the pristine beaches of the Bay of Fires.
