Saltwater
Salwater villas can be found in the pretty seaside town of Falmouth on Tasmania's east coast. This unspoilt location is just north of Bicheno and south of St Helens on the east coast. Saltwater Villas are three private, luxurious contemporary villas sitting right on the beach with sweeping views across the Tasman Sea.
In the winter you may be lucky enough to see migrating whales, and no matter what time of year you can always wander along the pure white beaches or explore the marine life in the nearby rock pools or dive the wondrous kelp forests. The ocean may be cooler in Tasmania but it is also the cleanest you will ever swim in – catch a wave or catch a fish just a few metres from your front door. The villas have king size beds and a soothing spa.
Falmouth is a great base to stay while exploring the east coast – The Gardens, Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires to the north and Bicheno, Freycinet National Park and Swansea to the south. You can also explore local vineyards, the cheese factory at Pyengana, and sample the freshest seafood.
