Ar lan y môr offers self-contained accommodation at Coles Bay on Tasmania’s Freycinet Peninsula. Coles Bay is two-and-a-half hours’ drive from Hobart (212 kilometres) and two hours from Launceston (178 kilometres) on the state’s east coast.
Ar lan y môr—one of the Sheoaks holiday properties—is an elevated cottage, close to beaches and the Coles Bay village. The cottage has two queen-size bedrooms with ocean views, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchen is well-equipped and the lounge has comfortable couches, a television and CD player. The cottage also has a bathroom, toilet and washing machine. Quality linen, towels and pillows are provided.
You can soak up the sun, barbecue some local seafood and enjoy the view on the cottage’s front and rear decks or stroll to the nearby beach. At Freycinet National Park—a short drive from the property—you can walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, go swimming, fishing or sea kayaking or take a charter cruise or scenic flight along the Freycinet coast.
Ar lan y môr is Welsh for ‘at the seaside'.
