Bicheno's Ocean View Retreat provides self-contained accommodation in Bicheno on Tasmania’s beautiful east coast. Enjoy views overlooking Diamond Island and the pristine sands of the coastal beaches.
Choose from self-contained units accommodating up to six guests in either a family unit or bed and breakfast suite. There is also a deluxe spa suite appointed with a luxurious two-person spa. The self-contained units have fully equipped kitchens and all accommodation options have modern bathrooms and spacious living areas.
In the evening you can sit out on the verandah and take in the view while enjoying fine Tasmanian wine. Take a walk down onto the beach to see the Fairy penguins returning to their burrows and keep an eye out for the local nocturnal wildlife. You can visit Douglas Apsley and Freycinet National Parks which are only about 30-minutes’ drive away. Bicheno shopping centre and golf course are within close proximity to the retreat. Utilise the extensive library of books and videos or, if fishing is your preference, surf fishing gear is available for hire. Cast a line from the beach and try your luck at catching dinner.
The retreat is about two-hours’ drive southeast of Launceston (174 kilometres/108 miles).
