Miranda Cottage is situated on several hectares make it quiet and private. On hot afternoons and balmy summer evenings sit on the shady front veranda and admire the flower garden.
The modern kitchen makes self-catering a breeze, and there’s a gas barbecue for easy outdoor cooking.
Miranda Cottage has its own private tennis court, and next door a golf course.
Stroll along the beach or riverside walkway and you’re in Orford village, where there are shops and a hotel for counter meals. Play golf, walk the convict track, sail a boat. Don’t miss the ferry trip to Maria Island, one of the most fascinating places you’ll ever see. If the evening should turn a little cool when you return, put a match to the open fire and open a bottle of something special from a local Tasmanian vineyard.
