Sea The Sunrise Holiday Unit provides self-contained accommodation at Bicheno on Tasmania’s east coast. Situated just one block from the Tasman Sea, spectacular views are available from the bedroom windows.
The well-appointed apartment has two bedrooms and is fully furnished. There is a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and a bathroom with an elegant bath and shower. There is also the added convenience of full laundry facilities including a washing machine and clothes dryer.
In the morning ease yourself into the day with a foreshore walk. Then maybe visit some of the local attractions; East Coast Natureworld, The Bicheno Sealife Centre, sample some wine at Freycinet Vineyard and explore Douglas Apsley National Park. Take a day trip to Freycinet National Park where you will find spectacular Wineglass Bay and The Hazards. At days end laze on the beach, listen to the water lap the shore, and as the sun sets over the water watch the fairy penguins come ashore. The penguins nest around the apartment most of the year.
This seaside town is just over two hours’ drive southeast of Launceston (174 kilometres/108 miles).
